 June Bidding Notes

                Summer A-Days

In preparation for summer operations, the A-Days percentage used to determine how many A-Days are planned for the system will increase from where it has been over the last few months.  In addition, A-Days are determined as a percentage of block hours, so as the summer increase in block hours occurs, the total number of A-days allocated will also increase.  As a result of these two events, if you held A-Days or were close to holding A-Days over the past few months, please bid A-Day start dates accordingly.

Bids Close
Bids close on May 13 at 0800 ET.

CBS Support Desk
Opens May 8 - May 12, 0600-2200 ET. Call (866) 715-1381 or (404) 715-1381.

2010 CQ Changes
CQ Training will count 5:30 (2:45 per day for 2 days) toward schedule value for CBS bidding purposes.  In past years, it held no hourly credit toward schedule value.

eCrew/iCrew Schedules
June schedules will be available for viewing in eCrew/iCrew until 0800 ET on May.13.  If you perform any swaps (vacation, CQ, etc.) for June, the locks in CBS will not update until the following day. The locks do not prevent you from submitting bids.

Bid Tip

As a reminder, domestic cross staffing begins in June.  How does this affect your bid?  If you use the aircraft type bid preference, you may want to review this preference by utilizing the CBS filter to make sure it is still capturing the trips you want.
