NOTE:  On July 31, 2006, the Company unilaterally implemented terms and conditions of employment, including base and incentive rates based on a seventy-five (75:00) hour monthly minimum.  Those rates remained in place until January 1, 2007, when a 1.5% across the board rate increase was implemented.  The rates now contained in these charts reflect a reduction in the monthly minimum hours in this tentative agreement from seventy-five (75:00) to seventy (70:00) hours, causing a corresponding reduction in the monthly base rates.  The change in monthly hours does not represent any type of pay rate reduction; the incentive rates are unaffected.

B.    Incentive Pay

In addition to base pay a Flight Attendant shall receive incentive pay for each hour in excess of seventy credited hours (70:00) per month in accordance with his/her longevity as follows:

2.    When open flying is flown by an Inflight Supervisor or a Company selected employee, the Flight Attendant who would have been eligible for such flying shall receive pay and flight time credit for the scheduled value of such flying.

NOTE: M.1. and M.2., above, shall not be applicable where an assignment is the result of a charterer's request.

3.    Inflight Supervisors are utilized on certain flights to provide expertise and assistance to Flight Attendants in the form of supervision, instruction and demonstration to achieve the goal of superior service to all passengers. Ground holding time with respect to the same flight at the same station in the same on-duty period shall be cumulative (regardless of delays or block outs or block ins involved) unless there is an intervening airborne liftoff of the aircraft.

P.   International Ground Holding Pay

When assigned to international flying, a Flight Attendant required to remain with passengers in excess of one hour (1:00) prior to flight departure or following flight arrival shall receive fifty percent (50%) pay and fifty percent (50%) credit for flight time purposes for ground holding time in excess of one hour (1:00). Ground holding time with respect to the same flight, at the same station, in the same on-duty period shall be cumulative (regardless of the number of delays or block outs or block ins involved) unless there is an intervening airborne liftoff of the aircraft.

Q.   Short Crew Compensation

On those flight(s) operated with less than the number of Flight Attendants required by the Company's Internal Cabin Crew Staffing Guidelines or contractual minimum staffing requirements, the working Flight Attendants shall receive short staffing compensation in the amount of three dollars ($3.00) per hour or fraction thereof for each such segment. The Company shall provide the Union with a copy of its Internal Cabin Crew Staffing Guidelines on a monthly basis and agrees to meet and confer with the Union prior to changing the staffing levels or establishing the levels for new aircraft types.

R. Language Qualification Tuition Reimbursement Program

In order to provide opportunities for Flight Attendants to learn and develop foreign language skills, the Company shall maintain a tuition reimbursement program for Flight Attendants who meet the following criteria. The criteria in subparagraph R.1., below, shall apply to all Flight Attendants.

1.    The Flight Attendant must successfully complete a Company established and administered language qualification test in order to become "Language Qualified". Such test may be administered periodically, either individually or on a system wide basis, to ensure that the qualification has been maintained. For the purpose of this agreement, "Language Qualification" equates to a Company designated level of functional fluency. Participation in the Language Qualification Program is voluntary, and, as such, the language qualification test does not qualify for training pay. Service charge waived, space available passes to the Northwest station nearest the proficiency testing site shall be provided in the event that the testing is not offered at or near the Flight Attendant's base.

2.    The Company shall provide language study tuition reimbursement as follows:

a.    The Company shall determine which languages are eligible for tuition reimbursement.

b.    The Company shall provide a list of acceptable accredited institutions from which tuition reimbursement shall be considered and authorized. Any other program or institution must be approved by the Company on an ad hoc basis in order to be eligible for reimbursement.

c.    Foreign language tuition reimbursement is contingent on the successful completion of a Company established and administered language qualification test.

d.    The maximum tuition reimbursement shall be two thousand dollars ($2,000).
