LETTER OF AGREEMENT
between
NORTHWEST AIRLINES, INC.
and
FLIGHT ATTENDANTS
in the service of
NORTHWEST AIRLINES, INC.
as represented by
ASSOCIATION OF FLIGHT ATTENDANTS - CWA, AFL-CIO
THIS AGREEMENT is entered into by and between Northwest Airlines, Inc. a
Minnesota Corporation (the "Company") and the Flight Attendants in the
service of Northwest Airlines, Inc. as represented by the Association of Flight
Attendants - CWA, AFL-CIO (the "Union").
The Company and the Union agree to explore reciprocal Flight Attendant
jumpseat agreements with other carriers, including but not limited to the
current Sky Team partners. Such process shall begin not later than ninety (90)
days after ratification of the Agreement. Factors to be considered in reaching
such agreements shall include the following:
1. Costs, including any necessary automation costs;
2. Security; and
3. Impact on ground service personnel workload.
