    LETTER OF AGREEMENT
    between
    NORTHWEST AIRLINES, INC.
    and
    FLIGHT ATTENDANTS
    in the service of
    NORTHWEST AIRLINES, INC.
    as represented by
    ASSOCIATION OF FLIGHT ATTENDANTS - CWA, AFL-CIO


    THIS AGREEMENT is entered into by and between Northwest Airlines, Inc., a Minnesota
    Corporation (the "Employer"), and the Flight Attendants in the service of Northwest
    Airlines, Inc., as represented by the Association of Flight Attendants - CWA,
    AFL-CIO (the "Union").
    The undersigned parties agree as follows:
    The replacement program for the SLIC bidding system is planned for an
    implementation date no earlier than April, 2008. To facilitate the implementation
    of the new program, and to ensure continuity of the bidding process, the undersigned
    parties agree as follows:
    1. The current SLIC bidding system will be used until the new system is
    implemented.
    2. Unless specifically superceded by this Agreement, all contract language
    contained in the June 1, 2000 Collective Bargaining Agreement that
    specifically addresses the SLIC bidding process shall remain in full force
    and effect until the new system is implemented unless specifically
    amended elsewhere in this Agreement.
