PAYCHECK PROBLEMS OR QUESTIONS?
Please call the Delta Employee Service Center (ESC) at 800 MY DELTA (1-800-693-3582) or email with paycheck problems or issues. The ESC more or less encompasses the functions handled previously by calling the old NWA numbers for Pension, Benefits & Payroll.
Dial 1-800-MY-DELTA
Press Option 2
Enter your Delta employee number (aka: pass travel id) and then press #
Enter your pass travel eligibility date (e.g. 060198), then press #
Press Option 4 for payroll questions
If the representatives in the ESC cannot assist you with NW specific errors related to pay calculations, etc., we were informed by Delta management that they will transfer you to pre-merger NW payroll system specialists. There is general information posted in various areas of Deltanet about our paychecks, as well as more information about the Employee Service Center and Employee Self Service (ESS). Go to Deltanet, then click on “Employee Info”, then click on “Employee Connection” for paycheck information.
NO 401K COMPANY CONTRIBUTION INFORMATION
AFA has contacted Delta about the fact that the company 401K contribution information that we are accustomed to seeing on our paychecks is missing. We await a response and will inform all members as soon as we hear back from the company.
WHERE IN THE WORLD IS MY CREW MEMBER ACTIVITY STATEMENT?
In a meeting on Monday with Delta we again confirmed that our Crew Member Activity Statements (CMAS) would be available. They have provided a link to the CMAS on Deltanet. To find them, go to the Employee Self Service (ESS) link on Deltanet, then click on “My Pay” link, and then under the heading “Action” click on “View Member Activity Statement”. We will continue to receive CMAS with our paychecks per the contract and past practice. However the information for the CMAS is drawn from an NWA specific system that is tied to all aspects of our contract. Therefore it is produced separately and is distinct from a similar statement that Delta flight attendants will now receive.
WHO IS HANDLING OUR PAYROLL NOW?
Delta has outsourced our paycheck processing and their calculation methods appear somewhat different. However, according to management, the paychecks have a different design, but the same basic information. **AFA has received complaints today of errors, so please check your paycheck to ensure you have been paid correctly per your schedule in ACCESS/CMS and per the contract. Service for general questions and problems/issues will be provided by a combination of the ESC and pre-merger NWA specialists for now.
HOW IS A QUESTION/PROBLEM HANDLED THROUGH THE DELTA ESC (1-800-MY-DELTA)?
A. Tier 1 - representative answers the phone and can answer most general questions
B. Tier 2 - representative will provide an “escalation” for the issue that involves more investigation. A case number is assigned.
C. Tier 3 - representatives are comprised of upper level human resources staff that would work with other departments to research the problem further for a solution.
***If you have received a case number and don’t get a call back within the specified number of days, please contact your local AFA representatives for assistance.
WILL OUR PAYCHECK DATE CHANGE?
No, not while we have our contract. Section 25 - General outlines contractual provisions regarding our paychecks.
AN ESC REP TOLD ME I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NEXT PAYDAY TO BE RE-PAID FOR AN ERROR ON MY PAYCHECK!
Delta management was reminded today that our contract requires a special check to be cut if there is an error in the calculation of our pay which exceeds $50. If that is not the case, please contact your local AFA representatives immediately.
